What is IELTS?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the test that defines how good you are in the English language. Those who appear for the test, go for either the General Training Module or the Academic Module. The academic module is for those people who want to go to university. Originally, IELTS aims to evaluate the language skills of candidates who wish to work or study, where English is the language of communication. IELTS is required for admission to universities in the UK and other countries.
The IELTS is mutually owned and monitored by the Cambridge English Language Assessment, British Council and IDP Education Australia. The test material for IELTS is set up by an international team of authors from various English speaking countries. Therefore, the material reflects real-time conditions. The speaking portion of the test is a one-to-one assessment with the real person, and not using a computer. In this way, you will have a dialogue exchange with an examiner who is able to evaluate your language abilities without the rest of the candidates or technical issues. In our IELTS exam classes in Ahmedabad, we will also prepare you for the speaking part of the test.
– IELTS Score:
Candidates with varying levels of English are needed in colleges, universities, governments, and recruitments spread around the world, based on their profiles and goals. That’s why it becomes necessary to test which test score you need for one of the IELTS tests.
Post the test, you will be rated with a total score in either half or full band. Such as 6.5 or 8.0. Originally, band 1 represents non-speakers, while a band score of 9 means an expert level of competence. Whereas Band 6 is equivalent to a ‘competent user’, who usually holds a high level of command over the English language.
– IELTS Test Centers:
IELTS tests are conducted at accredited testing centers worldwide – now there are more than 500 centers spread across more than 120 countries. You can get information about the examination centers nearby you, online.

What is the IELTS exam structure?
The IELTS General Test consists of four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. We will prepare you in all these aspects.
The module consists of four sections, with ten questions in each section. This is a duration of 40 minutes: 30 minutes – for the test, and 10 minutes to transfer the answer to the answer sheet.
The reading paper is composed of three volumes and texts, with 2,150–2,750 words. There will be different types of questions.
The writing paper has two tasks, and both of them have to be completed. Under Task 1, applicants must write a minimum of 150 words in a 20-minute time limit. As part of Task 2, examinees are required to write a minimum of 250 words in approximately 40 minutes.
This round includes a face-to-face interview between the examinee and an examiner.
At Career Graph, students are taught how to solve the questions related to each of the above sections as a part of the IELTS exam.
